Four days to go until ride start! Completely random that another person who lives about 3 miles from me is doing the same ride. I had the chance to meet up with Jeffrey a couple times for coffee. Lots of the same thoughts and fears. Really great to hear different perspective from someone going on the ride!

Jeffrey had a send off party for the ride. Jeffrey’s friends and family. Very interesting group where some had gone on collections of bike travel tours. They were all filled with great information and gave great tips on what to expect. Most importantly was their wonderful stories about how much they enjoyed each tour. Craig, who had done the cross country trip in 2017, provided great details on the ride. It was crazy that he was side swiped by a car on day 3 and completed the ride. What an awesome rider and a great person who raised over $50k on the ride for Alzheimer’s – very moving!!!

In every interaction, everybody takes away something. It was a great afternoon and grateful for the invitation. The riding conversations were insightful. Everyone was so positive and enthusiastic about their ride trips. The physical challenge, the food, the guides, the friends made – all points that I can’t wait to get going. This was a huge confidence boost. This is going to be an epic set of rides, literally!!!
