108 miles of same rolling country side
  • Miles today 108.5
  • Miles total 1369.8
  • Elevation today 4209 ft
  • Elevation total 67719 ft
  • Weather – good god hot 🥵 starting out 60’s going to low 90’s; very dry with basically no wind!!! It is don’t sweat, you crust over!!!
Plan for the day

Today’s ride was supposed to be a recovery from the 7700 ft of climbing of yesterday. Still had 108+miles of riding thru Wyoming. This is not Yellowstone WY – this is the Barron hills, huge rolling highways (that generate a lot of elevation and HEAT (my toes felt like they were burning while riding).

A lot of same-ness, hills, cows, some rocks in the distance and a ribbon for a highway with very few cars. Did I mention it was HOT!?

Not sure tomorrow will be better but we will be in Spearfish SD. Factoid: in Spearfish is a R&D center for SRAM bike components and Quirk Power Meters!!! Ya, it’s bike geek stuff – but cool!!!
