• Weather started in low 60’s charging to 90’s. Wind was from the south side all day but manageable at 10 mph

Today we started by crossing the Missouri River – boundary of west and east. Also supposed to be some cultural boundary too! To me it looked like big farms of corn, sunflowers and sorghum (which looks like corn with no husks).

I have a new saddle on loan from Trek Travel which seems to be helping – but alas the damage has been done. Expect a fully healed but about Christmas.

Overall easy day of riding, who would say 73-ish miles is easy? But it was. Really a recovery ride to remove the PTSD from the badlands

On to Sioux Falls….still in SD!
