Today was a late start and slept in ‘til 7:30. Felt so good to roll over and go back to sleep at 5:30!!!! Our start was at 10:00, no one knew what to do with themselves. As we head out, all the talk was about weather and that we were going to miss the rain. Ha! Two and a half miles it dumps – standing water in the road, car spray but worst of all is the spray from the bike in front of you giving you a face wash and exfoliation. Plus no rain gear – soaked and feet wet all day. However it was short for 64 miles!

Nothing remarkable with the rain. The leaves just beginning to turn yellow but not really dropping yet. So not a lot of pics – you really don’t feel like stopping when it is raining!

Tomorrow is a bit of a toughie – 101 miles and 5400 feet of climbing!!! Expecting rain all day which makes for a long ride…Meadville to Bradford!
