Very special day that started with shipping home stuff I no longer need, which weighed about 15 pounds. Then went to a coffee shop to get me second latte of the trip – sugar free vanilla never tasted better. Then bought some more energy chews, I don’t think I can buy enough. Lastly went on a perfect sightseeing drive about with Mike’s buddy Tom.

So ya some walking but good to keep everything moving. Went to Watkins Glen, Hammondsport and then to a winery (started by Constantin Frank, who revolutionized wine making). This is Finger Lakes country carved out by glaciers running north to south. The leaves are beginning to change and weather was perfect (shorts and golf shirt, oh my on 10/1)

Tomorrow is back to the grind with anticipated rain, a hundie and 5500 ft of climbing…ouch! Heading to CAZENOVIA!
